What is Reiki?
REIKI (pronounced
ray-key) is an ancient, hands-on method of natural healing that
activates, balances and increases the life force (chi) within our bodies
and restores the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Practiced in every country of the world, REIKI
is being used in many settings, including hospitals, hospice, and in
self-care. It is a wonderful complementary therapy in any healing or
wellness program.
REIKI is simple to learn, it is powerful yet gentle. It is a safe, non-invasive form of hands-on healing therapy. REIKI is performed by the touch of the hands, allowing the flow of vital life force to the client via the REIKI certified practitioner. REIKI
is used to relieve pain, reduce stress, strengthen the immune system,
rebalance the functioning of the organs, eliminate toxins from the body,
calms the mind and emotions, aids in concentration, helps in the
grieving process and generally accelerates the body's own healing
processes on al levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
When
the flow of an individual's vital life force energy (chi) is disrupted,
weakened or blocked, emotional or physical health problems tend to
occur. Imbalances can be caused from many situations occurring in our
lives, such as: emotional or physical trauma, injury, negative thoughts
and feelings, including fear, worry, doubt, anger, anxiety, toxicity,
nutritional depletion, destructive lifestyle and relationships, neglect
of self love or love for others, from emotions that are not expressed in
a healthy way.
REIKI is excellent for healing and gives wonderful results. REIKI treats
the whole person and many have reported miraculous results. It has been
effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and
always creates a beneficial effect and feelings of peace and
well-being.
REIKI also works in conjunction with all other medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

SECOND DEGREE PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION:This six hour workshop includes: hand-outs on the additional hand placements for the direct healingof
others and self, the three symbols utilized to focus additional energy,
charge objects, and utilize the technique of “distance” healing. The
practitioner will have the opportunity to practice a hands-on treatment
for direct healing of another, as well as “distance” healing for a
person or situation. The Second Degree Practitioner will receive two
“chakra-opening” attunements from the Master Level Instructor which will
accelerate their healing on an emotional/mental level and a certificate
of completion.

Those
of you who are committed to learning at a higher level and choose to
pass on the ancient knowledge of Reiki will be attuned to the level III
energies and use of the Usui Reiki Master Symbol. The Master Level
Practitioners will learn how to give Reiki Attunements to others and
will discuss development of their own Reiki practice or purpose.
Knowledge of the Master Crystal Healing Grid will be presented.
Master
Level Practitioners will then embark on a year log mind-body-spiritual
healing journey with an increased focus on spiritual healing. During
this workshop you will be guided to begin your personal “journal of
discovery”. The “journal of discovery” is personal growth work which
leads to amazing insights and awareness of self, improves well-being,
and redefines identity and life purpose.
